Getting Through the Hard Times

When you're weary, feeling low
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all
I'm at your side. When times get rough.
And whisky just can't be found.
Like a bridge over the hills of Canada
I will ease your mind

  1. Go, Clif and Susan! Good to see that you are rehydrating well each evening - I hope the beers aren't just for you, Clif! And great to be reading that you're almost there. Your spirits must have soared the first time you saw the Atlantic. (I'm concluding from the blog that you have already.) Life without the bike and a GPS arrow to follow will seem very tame. Here's hoping you put in a sprint finish.

All good here - although autumn's hurtling in with an unseasonally cool August, following a beautiful July. RMFCM @ 58 HVT

  2. It was great to see the Atlantic but we realised we still had over 1500km to go. Clif is the beer drinker and I have the occasional sip. Mind you I think I eat the same weight in chocolate every night. A sprint finish would be great but I think the hills and weather of Newfoundland will have something to say about that. Looking forward to getting home - I can't imagine how many wild animals are now living in our garden. Susan
